A non-profit organization working to minimize the harm associated with the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. The reference staff of the Clearinghouse will respond to information requests on issues related to alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. The Clearinghouse also maintains an extensive document collection related to the nature, extent, and consequences of such substances in Canada. In addition, several databases have been developed to assist in providing information on these issues. Many of the links contained on the homepage lack descriptions which makes navigation slightly more difficult than it should be. Text is also available in French.

NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, represents the professional interests of more than 85,000 addiction counselors, educators and other addiction-focused health care professionals in the United States, Canada and abroad. The website provides the general beliefs, and organizational stances. Membership, publications, and conference information is also available.
